Referrals from police and offender management
If you manage or supervise someone who has been arrested for, charged with or convicted of a sexual offence, specialist therapy can sit alongside your own work with them. We welcome referrals from police, probation and offender management teams.
What we offer
Empowerment Pathways is a team of psychotherapists, counsellors and psychologists who work with people affected by sexual offending. We can usually offer an appointment straight away, online across the UK or in person.
- Therapy for people who have been arrested, charged or convicted of a sexual offence
- Support for people who are worried about their sexual thoughts or behaviour
- Counselling for partners and family members, in their own right
How a referral works
- The person can contact us directly, or you can get in touch with their consent.
- We talk through what is needed and match them with the right member of the team.
- With their consent, we can confirm that they are attending.
Confidentiality
We do not share information about a referred client without their written consent, within the limits of safeguarding and the law.
